  About Spice Board   

It is the Indian government regularity and it was constituted on 26 February 1987. Its headquarters is in Kochi and Subash Vasu is the current chairman of the spices board. It is one of the five commodity board functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It has the responsibility of the production/development of cardamom and export promotion of 52 spices. It started the online campaign called the spice train to educate the Indians about the country’s rich spice heritage.

Spices Board of India is inviting online application from interested and eligible candidates for posts of Technical Analyst.

Spices Board, invites application from the qualified candidates preferably residing in the regions/

Corporations/ Muncipalities, where the Quality Evaluation Laboratories of tbe Board are situated,

i.e. at Mumbai(MH), Raebareli(UP), Kolkata(WB) and Chennai(TN) for short contractual

appointment initially for a period of one year and further extendable by one more year as per the

requirement and based on the performance.

  Technical Analyst (Chemistry & Microbiology) :  

The vacancies are on contract basis for a contractual appointment initially for a period of one year and further extendable by one more year as per the requirement and based on the performance.

  Job description :  

Assist in Standardisation of new parameters, projects related to quality

control of spices. Render analytical service based on Quality systems and

Manuals of Spices Board.

  Essential Qualification :   

 Chemistry - Post Graduate degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry/ 
Analytical Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry from a recognised University/ 
Institute.
Microbiology - Post Graduate degree in Microbiology /Food 
Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology from a recognised University/ 
Institute.

  Age limit :   

Candidates willing to apply for the post can be maximum of 35 years as of the last date of application or as mentioned in the Official Notification of the post vacancies.

  Experience :   

2 year post qualification experience as mentioned in Official Notification.
