Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) was a statutory body formed on 1-2-1959 under the Electricity Supply Act.1948. Subsequently with the re-organization of the erstwhile State of Punjab under the Punjab Re-organization Act 1966 this form came into existence w.e.f. 1st May, 1967.

Clerk - 549

Revenue Accountant - 18

Junior Engineer (Electrical) - 75

Assistant Lineman - 1700

Assistant Sub Station Attendant - 290

PSPCL Recruitment 2021: 

Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (PSPCL), Government of Punjab is going to start the online application process for recruitment of Clerk, Revenue Accountant, Junior Engineer (Electrical), Assistant Lineman (ALM) & Assistant Sub Station Attendant (ASSA) Posts from tomorrow i.e. 31 May 2021. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for PSPCL ALM Recruitment on or before 20 June 2021 on official website i.e. pspcl.in.

A total of 2632 vacancies are expected for above mentioned posts. Out of total, 549 vacancies are for Clerk, 18 for Revenue 75 for Accountant Junior Engineer (Electrical), 1700 for Assistant Lineman 1700 and 290 for Assistant Sub Station Attendant.

Candidates can check category-wise vacancy, break, educational qualification, age limit, pay scale, selection process, application form below.

 Educational Qualification :

• Clerk -  Graduation (in any stream) with a computer knowledge course certificate of 120 Hours duration
• Junior Engineer or Electrical Post - Regular 3 or 4 years of diploma in electrical/ electrical and electronics/ Computer science/ IT Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Revenue Accountant  - A regular degree in B.Com with 60% aggregate marks or a regular degree in M.Com with 50% aggregate marks or CA Inter/ ICWAI Inter
• Assistant Lineman  - 10th passed with NAC in lineman
• Assistant Sub Station Attendant - ITI/Electrical/Electrician/Wireman with minimum 60% marks and 2 years apprenticeship experience in PSEB or full time regular diploma in Electircal Engineering/ Electronics & communication/ Instrumentation & Process Control with 60% mark. 

Age Limit:

18 to 37 years

Selection Process for PSPCL ALM and Other Posts

The selection will be done on the basis of:

• PSPCL Prelims Exam
• PSPCL Mains Exam
• Final Merit List
• Document Verification
